£11.66 per hour (Pay review pending)  (Overtime paid at time and a half)

25 hours per week

Hours worked between 8am - 1pm

Predominantly Monday to Friday, but some weekend working will be required

St Joseph’s Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality end-of-life care to our patients and their families. We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead the housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hospice are consistently met. You will oversee the recruitment, induction and supervision of the housekeeping team, as well as managing the staff rota.  You will also be required to carry out cleaning duties.

The successful candidate will have:

  • excellent communication skills,  
  • experience of cleaning in public building, ideally in a clinical setting
  • be computer literate
  • have the ability to organise tasks and activities

Candidates should have an existing right to work in the UK (without the need for sponsorship).
