St. Joseph’s Hospice has launched its annual Light up a Life appeal, which will conclude in December with a very special Christmas service and light switch on which is being pre-recorded for families to join in online.

When the new GDPR regulations were introduced in 2018, St Joseph’s Hospice took the decision to move to an opt-in approach to marketing and communications in order to comply.

St. Josephs Hospice has announced that it will reopen six of its largest charity shops from Monday 13th July and is asking local people to donate any good quality items they no longer need.

At this time of year, St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Thornton, is usually launching its Summer Garden Party, Teddy Bears Picnic and Summer Remembrance event.

This week is Volunteers’ Week and even though events have been cancelled up and down the country, due to coronavirus, St. Joseph’s Hospice didn’t want to let this week slip by without saying a really big thank you to its incredible team of volunteers.

Sadly, we have to announce that we have cancelled our Volunteers' Evening, Midsummer Ball and this year's Garden Party due to the current restrictions on social distancing.

Pupils and teachers from four Crosby schools have joined forces and taken on some incredible fundraising challenges to raise money for St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Times are tough and many charities are experiencing a significant drop in income as events are cancelled, charity shops are closed and collection boxes are redundant.
