St. Joseph’s Hospice has launched its Christmas tree collection and recycling service for residents living in parts of Waterloo, Crosby, Thornton, Hightown, Formby and Maghull.

Fundraisers at St. Joseph’s Hospice are encouraging businesses and the local community to support it by enjoying Fizz at Five this Christmas.

The St. Joseph’s Hospice Light up a Life appeal is now underway and will run right up to this year’s Light up a Life service and Christmas light switch-on at 4pm on Sunday 9th December.

The CQC (Care Quality Commission) has inspected St. Joseph’s Hospice in Merseyside and has found it to be a Good hospice.

This week, St. Joseph’s Hospice - along with other charitable hospices across the UK - is encouraging the public to support their local hospice in whatever way they can - whether by donating, volunteering or showing they care on social media - during Hospice Care Week.

St. Joseph’s Hospice will open its doors to the local community on Tuesday 9th October for the launch of a brand new health and wellbeing project, in partnership with Liverpool-based charity, The Reader.

Footballing legends, Roy Evans and Joe Royle will bring Red and Blue fans together on Friday 26th October for a very special Sportsman’s Dinner in aid of St. Joseph’s Hospice.
