In 2021, we marked the 20th anniversary of the St. Joseph’s Hospice Lottery.

Over those 20 years, our lottery has funded compassionate end of life care and comfort for an incredible number of patients and provided bereavement and family support to their loved ones.

Over 6,000 people play our weekly lottery, giving them a chance of winning the £1,000 weekly jackpot, as well as other cash prizes, every single week.

To mark this special anniversary, we set ourselves a target of reaching 10,000 lottery members and so we are appealing to the local community to help us to Hit The Jackpot.

The St. Joseph’s Hospice lottery is such an important part of our fundraising work. It only costs £1 per week to play but it is so valuable because it provides us with a regular income which enables us to plan and budget for the future as well as provide hospice care for our community right now. So if you would like to support a valuable local charity, please consider joining our lottery.

To mark the launch of the appeal, our nurses and carers  revealed a special lottery-ometer which will record the number of people that join the lottery.
