Now, as we begin to look forward, we have a new challenge, sustaining our future.

St Joseph’s Hospice has been caring for people in our community for more than 46 years and, during the crisis, our staff have continued to provide compassionate care to some of our most vulnerable people whilst relieving the burden on the NHS.

Our staff ensure that patients at the end of life, or with complex palliative needs, can access the care they require and deserve. We need this to continue.

We don’t need to tell you how difficult 2020 has been so far. You know!

We don’t need to tell you what the hospice means. You know!

But here is something you may not know. St Joseph’s Hospcie, your local hospice, cannot survive without your help and the help of our community. That’s a fact. The plain truth.

St Joseph’s Hospice provides specialist care and support that is second to none. We receive less than one third of our income from the Government. Our income streams have been hit hard - we had to close all our shops, cancel all our fundraising events as well as suspend all our face to face collections and lottery canvassing.

But we still need your help and 2gether we can sustain our future.
