Once again, this year, Jospice invites you to join in remembering loved ones and absent friends by sponsoring a light on our Christmas tree.
The Light up a Life tree speaks to people in different ways, helping to remind us of family and friends who have helped light up our lives. The lights shining together suggest people bringing light and love into our own homes and neighbourhood. Our Christmas tree will bear your light dedicated to someone special and will remain lit over the Christmas season. The name of your loved one will be placed in the Jospice Book of Remembrance.
Our service and lighting of the Christmas tree will be held on Sunday 15th December 2013. Carols will be sung from 4pm by the choir of Sacred Heart Catholic College. This will be followed by a short Candlelit Service of Remembrance at 4.30pm led by Father Dunstan Harrington, Father Joe Kendall & Rev Kath Rogers.
You are invited to join us in the grounds here at Jospice (Ince Road, Thornton) from 3.45pm for the carols, service and refreshments. Please note the service is held outdoors, suitable clothing and footwear is advised.
