Housekeeping Assistant

£12.71 per hour 

20 hours per week (Hours worked between 8am - 3pm)

(5 x 4 hour shifts per week, worked across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

We are looking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our fantastic team at St Joseph’s Hospice, Thornton (L23).

The Housekeeping team is key to ensuring that our Hospice - both clinical and non-clinical areas are cleaned to the very highest standards and a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.  As well as a full range cleaning duties, as well as working in our laundry. 

The successful applicant will have experience of carrying out cleaning duties in a public building, ideally a healthcare environment. Don’t worry if you haven’t worked in this type of environment before, as full training will be provided, but you will need to have a commitment to the aims of the Hospice and to work across the clinical areas.   Additional hours may be required on occasion, to cover holiday and sickness. Overtime paid at time and a half.
