£11.44 per hour
16 hours per week
2 x 8 hour shifts - predominantly Saturday & Sunday
3 month fixed term contract, with possibility of extension
Location: St Joseph’s Hospice, Ince Road, Thornton, L23
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our fantastic Facilities team. The post holder will assist in the preparation and distribution of high quality food to patients, staff and visitors to the Hospice, whilst helping to maintain excellent standards of food hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a fast paced kitchen or café environment and an understanding of food preparation and storage. Knowledge of health and safety in a kitchen environment is a must. A Level 2 Food Safety certificate would be an advantage. Additional hours during the week may be available to cover sickness and holidays.
